Stories & Stillness
Step into an evening of timeless storytelling with Isai, quiet reflection, and contemplative practice. Each month, we'll gather by candlelight to explore a teaching from the Upaniṣads, ancient wisdom texts that invite us to inquire into the nature of the self, awareness, and what it means to live with greater presence. Through story, guided reflection, journaling, meaningful conversation, and meditation, we'll create space to slow down, listen deeply, and connect both inwardly and with one another. No prior knowledge of the Upaniṣads is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to be present. This is an invitation to create your own cozy space. Please bring your own blankets, pillows, bolster, meditation cushion, or anything else that helps you feel comfortable and supported for the evening. Candlelight will set the atmosphere while we settle into a quiet, grounding practice together. There is no movement or heat for this experience. Come as you are. Leave feeling a little more rooted, a little more spacious, and perhaps carrying a story that continues to unfold long after the evening ends.
